Bigger stories, louder heroes, higher profits, an endless escalation of meaning to fill the void. Our culture consumes itself in pursuit of spectacle, mistaking accumulation for transcendence. We keep writing grander sagas while the ground beneath us burns, feeding the fire with our longing for immortality.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/h5\u003e\n\u003ch5 dir=\"ltr\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe piece embodies the tension between creation and destruction: the human desire to dominate nature through fire, metal, and myth, and the inevitable decay that follows.
